Today we are diving into a very important subject: discernment. In our previous episodes, we spoke about different kinds of entities, spiritual and astral attacks, spiritual attachments, soul ties, and how to protect yourself. When speaking of protection, the best form is really prevention, which we do through discernment.
Today we’re talking about discerning spirits, connecting with beings, purifying your consciousness, and how to develop true spiritual discernment.
Discernment is about being anchored in your own truth. It’s about developing an inner compass, not just knowing mentally but intimately recognizing energy. This is the kind of knowing we build through practice and connection.
Journeying with discernment
When we journey, everything happens within. Even if you’re traveling to another solar system, it’s an experience within you. That’s what makes journeying such a powerful demonstration of oneness. When we connect with anything—a being, a realm, a guide—we create a quantum entanglement.
Truth resonates. And the more you journey, the more you recognize vibrations. Journeying helps you build a vibrational frame of reference. You learn to distinguish what is real, what is projection, and how something actually feels in your nervous system. This is key for safety, integrity, and depth in any spiritual work.
In my journeying-focused programs, like the Circle and the Apprenticeship, we begin by journeying blindly. This is crucial because it allows for a raw, honest experience. You get an assignment without knowing what it is beforehand. After the journey, you receive feedback. This builds trust in your senses, clarity, and objectivity.
Many people, even experienced practitioners, are unknowingly interacting with their own subconscious. Discernment training helps you separate noise from truth. It clears old beliefs, projections, and conditioning, and helps you connect to your own pure energy. This is a deeply healing process that activates your spiritual gifts.
Spiritual discernment also means letting go of the ego. It means releasing performance, identity, and attachment to experience. Without discernment and healing, many people don’t know what they truly feel like in their purest form. This process helps you peel away false layers and return to your original frequency—as a fractal of source.
In today’s world, we’re so disconnected from spiritual truth that we crave any kind of experience. This leads many to skip the slow, intimate work and go straight to tools like plant medicine or altered states. But these often confuse discernment, distort perception, and leave us vulnerable to trickster energies.
Real spiritual communication is often subtle and calm. It comes through as a knowing, a metaphor, or a gentle prompting. If we expect fireworks and theatrics, we might miss the true message. We need to resensitize ourselves and cultivate a quiet, receptive mind.
Entities can mask themselves. They can appear as loved ones, guides, or animals. That’s why discernment is so crucial. Always test spirits. Ask, “Do you serve Yahweh and Yeshua?” Feel their vibration. High-vibrational beings will not be offended. Lower ones will flee.
As you heal and raise your vibration, you’ll start to recognize when something doesn’t feel right. Low frequencies will stand out. This will help you navigate daily life, journeying, and spiritual communication with more clarity and safety.
The more you journey and connect with various realms and beings, the more refined your discernment becomes. You begin to know what energies feel like in your body. This builds confidence and spiritual authority. You no longer need someone to tell you what you’re experiencing. You know.
Try this. When grocery shopping, hold different organic fruits or vegetables. Feel their energy. Some will resonate with you more. Do the same with music, shows, or anything you consume. Start noticing how it makes you feel physically and energetically.
We often don’t trust ourselves. We feel unworthy. That shame and self-doubt are perfect open doorways for interference. Start with atonement. I have a separate episode about it. Atonement brings you into spiritual right standing and helps you take responsibility without judgment.
Even if you can’t tell where a thought came from—your mind or an entity—ask, does this come from love? Does this reflect my Creator? Capture the thought and submit it to God. You don’t need to know the origin.
Discernment isn’t just for journeying. It’s for everything. The more you practice, the more you become the tool. You’re reading energy all the time. You learn to feel what’s for you, what’s not, what’s true, what’s noise.
You were made in the image of Creator. You are meant to be connected, empowered, discerning, and whole. That’s your natural state. Through discernment training, you return to that original blueprint.
Through my programs, you get firsthand experience. You don’t need to rely on anyone else to tell you what you felt. You know because you lived it. You felt it in your body. You saw the truth. You heard the message. You came home to yourself.
Blind journeying also helps you discover what you’re most connected to—your soul resonance. You will naturally gravitate toward certain collectives or realms, and you’ll know which beings have always been with you. It’s beautiful to witness.
Discernment isn’t abstract. It’s a lived, daily experience. Start small. Feel your food. Feel your music. Sense the room. Test the thoughts. Observe the energy. Over time, you will know what yours is and what is not. And that is your greatest protection.
If this resonates with you, explore my programs. The Apprenticeship, the Way Circle, and my coaching containers are all designed to strengthen your spiritual discernment, restore your power, and support your expansion.

Jessica
