Today, we’re diving into an important and eye-opening topic: the intersection of medicine, spirituality, alchemy and the history behind modern healing practices.
My own path has been shaped by many medical interventions—some life-saving, others unnecessary and even harmful. While I deeply respect the dedicated doctors and healers out there, I’ve also seen firsthand how Western medicine often treats symptoms rather than addressing the root cause.
Through my experiences, I discovered the incredible self-healing capabilities we all have, which I now teach to others. They are much more than a last resort! True healing isn’t just about fixing a physical ailment; it’s about looking at our bodies holistically: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And the most powerful truth? We are our own best healers.
The lost connection between medicine & healing
Historically, healing wasn’t separate from spirituality. Communities had shamans and healers who not only treated illness but also guided their people through environmental changes and spiritual challenges. Today, medicine is largely disconnected from these ancient wisdoms. Most physicians are trained to specialize in isolated symptoms, often overlooking the whole-body connection—including nutrition, energy, and life force…
But things are shifting! Despite suppression, more people are rediscovering the knowledge that we are inherently self-healing beings. In my apprenticeship, I work with doctors, therapists, and educators who are reintegrating holistic and energy-based practices into mainstream healing. This is exciting!
Hidden forces behind modern medicine
Western medicine wasn’t always as we know it today. Around 120 years ago, holistic and natural healers were systematically pushed out, centralizing medicine into what we now call allopathic care. Today, big pharma, or rather: the spirit of pharmakeia, controls most aspects of healthcare, and much of what we consider ‘natural’.
Many doctors are also under financial pressure to prescribe medications, making the system more about maintaining illness than true healing. And yet, we’ve been conditioned to trust it without question, especially when we’re at our most vulnerable.
Reclaiming our sovereignty in healing
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that true healing begins with empowerment. Too often, we place our trust outside of ourselves rather than tuning into our own discernment. But the body knows. Our our energetic field and body hold deep wisdom about what we need to heal.
Illness is often the physical manifestation of something deeper: karma, unprocessed trauma, ancestral imprints, or energetic imbalances. Science now confirms what ancient traditions have long known: trauma can alter DNA and pass through generations, creating patterns of disease. But just as we inherit these imbalances, we also have the power to heal them. Trust me, I see it all the time!
I encourage you to start your healing journey before you get sick. Empower yourself with knowledge, expand your consciousness, and reclaim your sovereignty over your health.
Love,
Jessica
