symbolic—it’s a way of reclaiming something for Creator, imbuing it with spiritual
significance and protection.

When you anoint, you’re exercising an authority given to you by Creator. Whether you’re
anointing a person, a place, or an object, you’re dedicating it to something higher. You’re
saying: “This is now sacred. This is now protected.” The oil used in anointing is not just a
substance; it’s a carrier of divine energy, representing the thickness and heaviness of God’s
glory.

The Significance of Oil

Oil has been used since ancient times in spiritual practices. It represents the presence and

consecrate the oil. Pray over it, declaring that everything it touches will be anointed and set

strongly in the spiritual realm.

what is sacred, and to exercise your spiritual authority. As you anoint, pray, and fast, you’ll
